At Music in Motion Piano Studio, we offer creative, inspiring, and fun piano lessons. Our experienced teachers help students not only learn how to read music and develop their ear training, but also how to play songs from the heart with good technique. We believe that every student has the ability to create their own music and enjoy it for a lifetime.
Annual Recital motivates you to learn more!
At 25th Anniversary Recital. Yearly recital, each student achieves their own goal not only to perform their pieces on the stage including duets, ensemble. They truly enjoy sharing music others to appreciate each other's work at the recital.

She is a professional pianist and seasoned educator based in Wayne county, Michigan, offering piano lessons students of all ages, including early childhood education. She founded the Piano Studio, where students can enjoy a lifelong passion for piano music through both in-person and online lessons over the past three decades. She is an active member of MTNA. Students have received PTNA awards and gained admission to prestigious universities with in piano performance and composition. Passionate about teaching, she is committed to helping students of all ages and abilities reach their goals while fostering a love for piano.
Previously, she had received outstanding performance awards in the National Beethoven and Haydn competitions, securing first place in two accompaniment contests. rich performance background includes international music festivals, performed in the orchestra of Toyota in Aichi, Japan, young professional concert and numerous ensemble concerts, where she also won first place in duet performances. A certified Yamaha Corporation music educator, she is also a certified alto saxophone instructor with many back ground including, played as a chief saxphone player in her band to first-place victories the AJBA competition for two consecutive years. Beyond teaching, she enjoys traveling with her husband, cooking, gardening, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Music Theory
Music theory and history are essential for becoming a well-rounded pianist. Our field trips provide a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the rich tapestry of music history, allowing us to learn and draw from the past. By exploring various musical styles and contexts, we our understanding and appreciation of the art form.
Techniques
Piano techniques are essential for becoming a skilled pianist. From day one, students learn these techniques in a way that keeps them engaged. By incorporating game-style elements into lessons, students can enjoy the learning process while mastering the fundamentals of piano playing. This approach not only enhances their skills but also fosters a love for music.
Compose & Improvise
In our classes, students will learn how to improvise lead sheets and compose songs for performance. Everyone will master the skill of transposing songs into different keys enabling them to arrange their favorite tunes in their own unique style.
Duets & Ensemble
Students learn the art of performing duets and ensembles with their peers. Through collaboration, they will master the balance of parts, develop their listening skills, and enhance their understanding of sound quality and rhythmic integrity. Our curriculum not only fosters musical talent but also encourages teamwork and communication among young musicians. Together, they will create harmonious performances that resonate with audiences.
